The View from the Pew....

If you would have been at church today (SPECIFICALLY the one where we attend) you would have seen an adorable little 2 year old with a pony tail, red bow atop, in the FRONT ROW pulling her dress up to show the entire primary (who were on the stand for the annual program...that's a WHOLE diff story- TRUST me!) HER belly button. As Her mother, the blonde lady with the whimsical headband- in plum- is trying to get her to QUIT pulling her dress up WHILE trying to get her Sunbeam (who is ALSO on the FRONT row ON THE STAND) to QUIT kissing the adorable boy next to her (although I couldn't blame her- he is a looker!) Starts hearing Snickering from the people behind her. SELF CONCIOUSLY- the mother makes sure she is not loosing any article's of clothing herself (yes, this has happened) and hence would be, the Recieve-E of the snickering starts to look at her flashing 2 year old. When SUDDENLY she notices, NOT the belly button that is being so elequently flashed, but the little TUSH of the child and LO AND BEHOLD, THIS is what is what the View from any PEW behind the family was:

NOTE TO SELF:
- the leggings no longer fit= discard them.
- sitting in the front row equals disaster

When The blonde lady got home and showed the pony tailed litte girl what the fuss was about KEEPING HER DRESS DOWN! The 2 year old laughed, stuck her finger in her dairy air and wanted to take a picture.

Just remember baby girl. TWO WORDS:
BLACK MAIL.

we'll talk about this again when you're boyfriends around. :)

On FINALLY having a PINK halloween!

Look at all this PINK!!! What a fun Halloween! We've finally moved from Firemen and Astronauts (which were totally fun) to more GIRLY things!! Serious, this is the best Holiday. My girls were in HEAVEN!! This is how they were pretty much the WHOLE night: HAPPY!! Minnie was ECSTATIC!!! Sleeping Beauty was all A GLOW!!!! (make-up, sparkles and all! SO FUN!)YUM.....I Spy a REECE'S with MOM's Name all over it!

I thought this pic was Spooktacular! If you look by sophia, the mama kitty (who is a perfect black Halloween cat) Happened to stretch into that spooky halloween kitty stance as I snapped the pic!
The whole night was amazing. Our neighborhood is the best. EVERY house, my girls got invited in and oh'ed and awe'd at and got their picture taken and given "special" treats. The bishop and his wife weren't going to be home to see my girls, so they actually stopped by OUR house to see the girls and give them treats- who does that??...an amazing bishop and his wife is who. It meant a lot. The neighborhood was full of friendly faces and wonderful people.
It was a great night we'll remember always.
We are blessed to be where we are.
It is home. Home forever for us.
And we love it.
Hope your Halloween was full of CHOCOLATE and SUGAR and Lots of DOOR bell ringing....
what a sight.

A new best friend

If anyone is looking for a new best friend.....
This little black one is adorable..........
Or this siamese one is purrrfect.......

Or this green eyed beauty would be amazing.

Let me know....these 3 kitties need a home.
They are gentle, playful, and totally adorable ( they require some work too!! :) )
They're just waiting to cuddle up on your lap for the holidays.

Irresistable

I awoke to high pitched squeals......
The closet door was flung open and snow attire was thrown my way....my eyes were still trying to open from their slumber.
Snow had come to our house...
and there was NO way they were going to wait till after breakfast or even the morning potty break to get their hands all over it. much to irresistable to wait for.
On the Menu for Breakfast: SNOW
On the Menu for Lunch: SNOW
On the Menu for Dinner: Whatever snow was left mixed in with Grass.
They bellies were never happier.
So was mom.
I was tempted to break out my Molasses for those irresistable Gingerbread boys and deck my halls with festive music......but instead I just sat back and enjoyed it.
There will plenty of days for that later.
Lets just hope we can wait till at least EIGHT a.m. next time.

Or not.
It was worth it.

Hollywood Halloween style

We started off last week at the Pumpkin walk...totally amazing. Blows the wax museum out of the water
Here is my Mom and Aunt Kristie show Michael Jackson some Real moves (everything is made from pumpkins!)

Check out this Garden! Completely Pumpkins...just painted to look like other Vegi's! (my fav exhibit...next to the Fruit of the loom guys and I'm a PC/I'm a Mac guys :) )
Laughing......
totally cute
my little Vooda...? Whatever this guys name is!

Then we went to a 60's Beatles party! SO fun. The Beatles Rock band is awesome.

Our friends Oliver and Angie came out looking like this.....SWEET! (they weren't even in costume! - KIDDING ANG!) Total classic though.

Then we had our Annual Family Halloween fest. Here is the enchanted woods w/the kids.

Jer and Jess having a bit too much fun at the CHILDRENS museum! :)

Then we finished the week by going to my Dad and Robbyn's for their Halloween Party.....they TOTALLY get into the costumes- it was fun.

The Phantom: My dad can rock a lot of things, but this was PERFECT!

Ian and his totally cute girl Jessica: AKA Batman and Poison Ivy.

Robbyn was Hillarious: The Progressive girl FLO off the Progressive commercials....she even had the lines and everything. Took home the Coveted trophy this year.

Then a pinata for the kids-is always a hit.....no pun intended. :)

Whoever invented this Holiday:

I'm a huge fan.

Thanks.

casting spells

Our annual trip to Garner Village to spy on the witches: THEN we went to Buca and ate with the whole fam (well, Jess is MIA) at the Pope's Round table! It was a lot of fun and major crazy!
I am lucky.
My family Rocks. Our big yellow tree is shedding it's golden leaves...it's quite a sight. we are showing our appreciation for it....over and over and over and over and over! The crisp sound, the big piles, leaves overflowing in our arms, and the color make it irresistable to say the least.
I love that tree.

THEN we had our new annual family Chili cook off!! I won't say who won, but she's pretty awesome and has lots of blonde hair. :)
Here is the cake walk! LOVE these things. We always had them at childhood carnivals so it was fun to bring it back.

All the Cousins......
The Cowboy, the Cheerleader, Spiderman (under cover), Belle, Minnie, DRACULA, The Bride and Sleeping Beauty.
I love Halloween.

And Finally....if looks weren't enough- here is how we FOR SURE know that Sophia is JESSE'S DAUGHTER:
